The Employment Committee, in conjunction with the American Council of the Blind (ACB), is committed to connecting talented, committed visually-impaired people with employment opportunities using podcasts, workshops, advocacy, career fairs, and other strategies. As part of our work, we are partnering with ACB Next Generation to host a program where we gather the personal experiences of our under 40 members to encourage the ACB Leadership Team to focus more on addressing career-related inaccessible hardware and software. Join us and ACB Next Generation, on Tuesday, March 21 at 8pm to begin this work. We want to hear your stories concerning the connection between career and the technology you use, both in the job hunt and in the workplace.
