quick JAWS and Outlook question

Sharon Strzalkowski

Hi all,

What a lovely day!

I can’t remember how to delete a folder in Outlook, and when I google it, the answer seems very complicated, and I don’t remember it as being that way.  Thanks for enlightenment.

You just use the application key once you are on that folder and select delete folder.

Sharon,

To delete a folder in Outlook, first get into that folder, then alt followed by odf  It will then ask you to confirm.

As far as I know, you cannot delete a folder from the applications key.

Maybe we’re getting to the tree in different ways.  If I hit control-y and then arrow down to a folder, the applications key does nothing.

I’m using Office 365.

Jerry, CONTROL Y does not put you in the navigation pane. It merely gives you a list of folders to jump to. To get to the navigation pane press SHIFT F6.
