Reminder, Come Roar with ACB Lions Tonight

Ray Campbell

Hello Lions:

It's the first Thursday of the month, and you know what that means?
It's time to Come Roar with ACB Lions tonight at 8:30 Eastern time,
7:30 Central Time, 5:30 Pacific Time, and 2:30 Hawaii time. The Zoom
information is below.

Lion Carla Ruschival has agreed to facilitate tonight's call as I will
be unable to attend since I'll be traveling for our Condo closing
tomorrow, and since Lion Marsha Farrow is out of town. Here's the
agenda.

After the reading of the minutes and Treasurer's report, we'll discuss
where we are with the convention program. I've identified two Lions
Clubs in the Omaha area and will be reaching out to invite them to
come have lunch with us. The two clubs I've found are the Omaha West
Side Lions and the Millard Lions.

Remember, our ACBL Business meeting is set for Thursday, June 23, 2022
at 9 p.m. Central Time. This year, per the ACBL Constitution and
Bylaws, we'll be electing our President, Vice President, Secretary and
Treasurer. Myself, Lion Marsha Farrow, Vice President; Lion Betsy
Grenevitch, Secretary; and Lion Adam Ruschival, Treasurer can run if
we choose. I will say I intend to run for another term as President.

You may be saying, wait, didn't we elect these offices last year?
Yes, we did, but remember we didn't have elections in 2020. Since
these offices are elected in even numbered years, we all served a
one-year term.

I've asked Lion Rosanna Beaudrie, Lion Debbie Detheridge and Lion
Sharon Howerton to serve as the Nominating Committee. I will be
asking one of them to act as Chair. Once that's done, I'll have them
put out a message requesting nominations.

As usual, there'll be plenty of time for club sharing. Lion Sharon
has offered to help Lion Grady get into the call, and Lion Sharon I'll
be reaching out to you privately with his telephone number.

Thanks, have a great meeting. Thank you again Lion Carla for
facilitating, and thank you as always, John Ross for hosting.

Come Roar with ACB Lions: 8:30pm ET, 5:30pm PT, 2:30pm HT
All Lions and those interested in Lionism have an opportunity to learn
about what ACB Lions is working on and share what our local clubs are
doing.

Hi Ray, I know this doesn't have anything to do with this topic, so I apologize, but just in case I'm not the only ignorant one, could you please send out something regarding where and how much dues are? I think I need to pay up! LOL. And I'm actually going to be able to make some of the calls after July. So I'm looking forward to this.
