PH Museum Virtual Visit and the 1950 Census on Sound Prints

Sound Prints this week begins with announcements and news. Then visit
the American Printing House Museum as Micheal Hudson, Museum Director,
introduces you to a rare 1829 book by Louis Braille, the Helen Keller
collection, and exciting items in the Kentucky School for the Blind
Alumni Archives. Finally, take a first look at the upcoming release
of the 1950 census and discover why this event can touch your life.

Here's how you can listen to Sound Prints every week from the Kentucky
Council of the Blind:


1. ACB Media 1 at www.acbmedia.org or on the phone at (518)
906-1820. Here's the broadcast schedule; all times are Eastern:

Sunday - 8:00 PM
Monday - 8:00 AM
Tuesday - 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Wednesday - 4:00 AM and 4:00 PM
Thursday - 10:00 PM
Friday - 1:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 1:00 PM

Enable the ACB Media skill on any Amazon Alexa device and then just
say "Alexa, open ACB Media. Alexa will ask what channel you want to
hear; just say ACB Media 1 and you will be connected to the correct
stream.

2. Sound Prints is available as a podcast from the KCB website,
through the iTunes store, or on the Victor Stream. Add
kentucky-acb.org/soundprints.xml to your favorite podcast device, or
subscribe by searching for soundprints under podcasts in the iTunes
store or the Victor Stream database.

3. Sound Prints is now available on KCB's Audio Information Service
from any landline or cell phone. Dial (773)572-6318 and select number
2 from the menu.

4. Visit the Kentucky Council of the Blind website at

and listen to current or past programs.

5. Sound Prints is available on CD, playable on any standard music CD
