Unfortunately tonight I can't be there, because of a previous commitment, but I will be there next month, or whenever the next meeting is. I've been a Lion for a couple of years now, but not in leadership, and ow was just elected First Vice President of my club, so I would love to talk to other folks who are in leadership in their clubs. ACB Lions meets the first Thursday of each month at 9 PM Eastern Time, 6 Pacific, and 3 Hawaiian. Over 30 people attended our meeting last night, and we were so pleased to have several new folks there. ACB Lions welcomes anyone who is a Lion, anyone who has ever been a Lion, or anyone interested in becoming a Lion. ACBL calls nearly always have time for participants to share local club activities, and we try to support each other in our efforts to be active in our clubs. Membership in ACB Lions is $15 for one year or $150 for a life membership. Please note that ACB Lions is not a sanctioned Lions Club, but rather an ACB special-interest affiliate that encourages people who are blind or who have low vision to be active in local clubs.
