Hello ACB Lions:

One of our major goals as discussed at our September 2021 meeting is to come
up with ways we in ACB Lions can assist Lions Clubs International. I'd like
to get a committee of not more than 5 plus myself together to brainstorm
ideas.

Mary Lee Turner has expressed interest in being on the committee, so I'm
looking for four more individuals. I'm sure that accessibility concerns
both with the Lionsclubs.org website as well as the MyLion app will be a
high priority. We also have discussed offering ACBL as a resource to LCI
and asking them how we could be of assistance.

If you're interested in being part of the committee, please email or call me
and let me know. For those not on the committee, don't worry, we need you
too, especially for website and MyLion accessibility issues. Please feel
free to send me any accessibility issues or concerns you have. We'll take
what we can get, but it would be good to hear both from screen reader users
as well as users with low vision, both using screen magnification software
and not. I'm hoping we can have our first committee meeting prior to our
next full ACBL call on February 3.
