Register for the Kentucky Council of the Blind conference and
convention and be eligible to win door prizes. We're giving away cash,
useful and fun items, and - best of all - a laptop or desktop computer
donated by Computers for the Blind.
The theme for this year's virtual convention is KCB - Turn Your Radio
On. Convention dates are November 16 - 21, and the program is packed
with chapter activities, presentations on technology, resources,
services, advocacy, and much more. KCB and some of its chapters will
be electing officers and/or directors, and our Top 40 Auction is sure
to produce a bidding frenzy.
The winner of the computer will be drawn at the James F. Shaw High
Voltage Banquet on Saturday evening; you don't have to be present to
win, but you do need to register to be eligible to be in the drawing.
When you pre-register, you may choose to receive a braille, large
print or audio CD program; email programs will also be available.
Everyone who registers will receive Zoom links so they can participate
in programs and meetings; most programming will also be available on
ACB Media 8.
Pre-registration is $20, and is open until Monday, November 8. After
the date, the cost is $30.
Registration is easy and quick when you have your debit or credit card
ready and call the KCB office at 502-895-4598. So turn your radio on,
tune us in, and participate in the 2021 KCB conference and convention.
