chili supper

The Louisville East Lions Club is having a chili supper this evening to raise money for their good work. Several blind and visually persons are in the club, and the chili supper is held at the Kentucky School for the Blind. The tickets are $4.00 for adults, $2.00 for kids, and it's an all-you-can-eat. Their chili is made by the Wayside Christian Mission here in Louisville, and they have great homemade desserts. A fall tradition.

Hi fellow Lions,
I'm new to this list. I'm a Lion in Bedford,
Indiana. I'm not currently a member of the Lions affiliate through
ACB.
My question is...for those of you who are blind, do
you get your Lions International Magazine through Books Aloud on cassette; or is
there another source that produces it in accessible format?
I requested this magazine through Books Aloud, but
they haven't been sending it.

As for the Bedford Noon Lions, we've sold Christmas wreaths, are having an art auction next week and having a community spaghetti supper in the spring. The wreath sales and spaghetti supper has been an annual event, but the art auction is a first time thing. We hope it goes well, then we'll do it again. Lion Rita
